Mariposa means “butterfly” in Spanish, and it is also the name of the street I lived on as a child in Hollywood, CA. What resonates most with me is the butterfly’s symbolism of change and transformation as it relates to owning a business… always growing, evolving, and transforming. And above all, there is a lighthearted quality to the butterfly, and I try to achieve that same kind of easy-going, accessible design in my projects and collaborations.
